6-Days Kilimanjaro Climb via Marangu Route

The 6-Days Kilimanjaro Climb via Marangu Route offers a scenic, comfortable trek with hut accommodations. Ideal for 2025–2026 climbers seeking a moderate and classic route to the summit

Route Overview

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is the only Kilimanjaro route that offers hut accommodations instead of camping. It’s a classic, direct route with a gradual ascent and descent on the same trail. While considered one of the easier routes due to its gentle slopes, its shorter acclimatization window requires good physical preparation. The 6-day itinerary allows an extra day for acclimatization at Horombo Hut, increasing summit success rates.

It offers a direct path to the summit with moderate difficulty, making it ideal for first-time climbers. With lush rainforests, alpine meadows, and glacier views, it’s a popular choice for those aiming to reach Uhuru Peak in 2025–2026.
